Our household recently flipped on itself when we made the decision that I would stay home to take care of the kids, be a stay-at-home dad, and my wife would go back to work. We used to be a two-income family. The cash flow was great when my wife and I were working but the extra money didn’t offset the quality of life decision we were making by using daycare. Between the birth of our son and our youngest daughter, my wife decided to stay home for the kids and we would go to one income. After the birth of our daughter, my wife and I switched roles and I’m the primary care-taker while my wife is the primary bread-winner.
I’d like to present some articles that emphasize a one-income family with a stay-at-home parent. Do yourself a favor and give these a read:

Thanks for the mention and good luck on the potty training. Our son is 2 1/2 and potty training. So far so good, but we do have some mishaps now and again.

Our guy is actually pretty good now. Accidents only happen on long naps. We still use a night time diaper. Not brave enough yet to clean his sheets every day!
